Deep Pokebugs

Now I know why you aren't allowed to name the bugs immediately when you catch them in the contest... it's bad enough when you get somewhat attached to one when you end up catching a better bug.

It's such a dilemma! That poor Beedrill getting released just because I found a Pinsir. And then that Pinsir when I found a stronger Pinsir.

I won the contest and got that Sun Stone I needed. But it's an empty feeling as I remember the rejects.

I'm finally up to six badges! Jasmine actually had Jr. Trainers... sadly, I didn't defeat one before bringing the medicine, and now he won't fight me! How lame. I try to defeat every trainer.

My Pokemon finally don't get mad at me when I try to take the items they find. Improvement!

My Togepi evolved into a Togetic and is now our designated flyer. I hope to evolve it soon. I need to find a Shiny Stone.

Gonna beat Pryce soon after I kick Team Rocket's butt! Lance is so cool.

3rd Badge!

I finally made a lot of progress today. I beat Whitney! Her cute poses made up for her being a pain in the butt. :)

In the National Park, there was a sign saying that you can't play with balls except for Pokeballs. I wonder what that was supposed to mean... o_O

And then I made Sudowoodo mad and he made me mad. Serves him right.

... at least I caught him. >:|



Why is it that Togepi is always sniffing Quilava's butt in the pictures the cameraman takes? I mean, I know fire Pokemon's fire is partly fueled by farts surely. I'll never look at Togepi the same way again.

Eeee! I can't wait till later on today! It's too bad Gamestop won't open earlier for this special event. T_T

I still don't know which starter I'm going to pick, ARRRGGGHHH!! Cyndaquil?? Chikorita?!

Just one more week!

I'm so excited for the release of Pokemon HeartGold, and I've been getting more and more distracted lately because of that excitement!! I'm seriously fortunate that it comes out the Sunday before my Spring Break starts... so I get an entire week to play it before I have to go back to school and be responsible and stuff. =P

I'm trying to decide which starter I'm going to get. Cyndaquil would be ideal, but my brother and sister also want Cyndaquil, so that could limit our trading opportunities. If they get Cyndaquil, then Chikorita and Totodile are left for my dad and I. So Chikorita would be the next ideal because it's really cute! <3

But when I was watching Pokemon on Saturday, I realized Totodile isn't that bad either. Even though I don't think I ever started with one. I don't like Crocnaw and Feraligatr as much as the evolutions of the other two.

So! This will be a blog for anything I find interesting along my journey in HeartGold, kind of like a log. Expect my weird observations.

The name of this blog is RedGold because of my hair... and they are both games I chose from each generation. I usually choose the "reddish" looking game: Red, Gold, Ruby, FireRed, Pearl and now HeartGold. And I usually get the third game of each generation, except I didn't get Emerald. What's extremely amusing is that my favorite color is green, my second favorite color is orange and my third is blue... wahaha!
