Fanart - Peteon

Peteon, what I imagine a Dragon-type Eeveelution would look like. Butt wings, wind sock tail, and a fluffy beard and chest. I want to flesh out this concept, since this drawing is pretty small. But I hope there is an official Dragon-type Eeveelution in the future, since it's the most likely type to get made now (though I get the feeling Nintendo will give in and make Eeveelutions of all the types anyway. More for those hardcore fans to collect and Eeveelution fans seem to be one of the most hardcore to me.)

I drew this before Sylveon was announced, but I'm hoping Sylveon isn't a Dragon-type... it's not cool enough for the standard I set for a Dragon-type Eeveelution, haha.

Fanart - Nurse Joyke

Um, just a stupid in-joke about how Nurse Joy heals the Pokemon. 'Cause hugs cure all. And I like drawing Chansey with bloodshot eyes for some reason. Well, it is a nurse. But that still doesn't explain the rabid Chansey I doodled on my notes in high school. The zombie apocalypse will start in the hospitals.

Fanart - I Love the Eggplant Episode

Ash(ley) and James dressed as eggplants from the Claydol episode. That episode was one of my favorite episodes in a long time and kept me watching Pokemon in college, when I was able to. Pokemon anime OTP right here (my theme for the past two entries has been strange OTPs?) I love Victreebel here. Love, love, love. And poor grumpy Pikachu and confused Claydol (the latter barely seen in this scan.)

Fanart - Treecko and Buneary

I have a Treecko and a Buneary plush. I have a lot of plushes. Sometimes when they haven't been straightened up for awhile, I find them in cute or funny positions (cue Twilight Zone music.)

Treecko x Buneary is one of my plush OTPs. (Pikachu x Piplup is my other.)

I know I'm strange, but that keeps my life interesting.

Fanart - Booby

Magby with a brassiere on its head. Because its Japanese name is Booby.

It also happens to be one of my favorite Pokemon. So cute. And technically part bird (where that hilarious Japanese name came from in the first place.)

A story. In the seventh grade, we had an election for naming the science class hamster. Some guys (in my homeroom, I think?) suggested Boober. I thought it was cute. When it came to my class to vote, I think I was the only one (or close to it) that voted for the name. It was really embarrassing (because of the uncomfortable silence, I can imagine what my classmates were thinking.) So I named my Magby on Pokemon Gold Boober instead. I forgot whether I already knew its Japanese name by then or whether it was a coincidence and pleasant surprise when I found out later Booby evolves into Boober (Magmar.)

Gin Tama (Silver Soul). Pokemon SoulSilver Version. Get it? One of my first thoughts when the names of the Gold and Silver remakes were released. Despite pretty much everyone looking derpy, I do like how Gintoki's hands and arms turned out and grumpy Bulbasaur. The poor little guy is humiliated to be in such a silly crossover, aww.
